Non-Personal Identification Information may include the browser name, IP address, technical information about Users’ means of connection to my Blog, e.g. desktop or mobile), the pages of the Blog they visit, the time and date of the visit, and the time spent on my Blog. Lisa Mackay does not use cookies to display advertising on my Blog. All advertising content is managed internally and no third party ads are served on this Blog.

How I use Collected Information:

I may collect and use Users’ information (both Personal and Non-Personal) for the following purposes: To run and operate this Blog, to tailor content on this Blog to best suit its Users’ interests, to send information to Users that they have agreed to receive via electronic newsletters, to contact Users via email to notify them that they have won a contest run on this Blog. If you are a newsletter subscriber and no longer wish to be contacted by me, please unsubscribe directly from that newsletter (unsubscribe link is provided at the bottom of each and every newsletter), or contact me via email to update or delete your data.

How I Protect Your Information:

MailChimp takes every reasonable and appropriate measure to protect Personal Identification Information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the Personal Information.

Sharing Your Personal Information:

I will never sell, trade or rent Personal Identification Information about my Users to others. I may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any Personal Identification Information regarding visitors with my Business partners.

Electronic Newsletters:

If a User decides to subscribe to my mailing list, they will receive emails that may include book news, updates, book recommendations, etc. I use MailChimp as a third party service provider to help me send newsletters to my subscribers.

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

Lisa Mackay has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
